I read a blog in which someone was ranting about fish depletion, and I couldn’t resist commenting. All the planners are ruining our country by creating the illusion that they care about whatever plan you happen to have.
There are more important things than the fish population going on around you. You really ought to wake up from whatever it is they have you brainwashed with at the moment, mainly because they’re stealing your labor without even telling you.
I am always annoyed at the fact that the corporatists keep the Democrats worried about the environment and the poor, and the Republicans worried about going to heaven, all while stealing from both of them by telling them some big scary story about terrorists or tuna fish. What’s the answer to 99 out of 100 questions? Money. Do you actually think that Immelt, Rockefeller, Bush, Clinton, any of the pseudo-fascists, gives a damn about the fish population? They pretend to care about this crap so you’ll vote for them.
Here is a list of political issues you care about that, quite frankly, do not matter at all to politicians, except that their positions on them help them get your vote: gay marriage, abortion, terrorism, global warming, the environment, poverty, drugs, sex and religion. If you are voting based on any of those issues, your political persuasions only serve to dishonor your judgment. The nation, as a whole, is worse off because of your willingness to digest political garbage.
You want something to strive for? How about freedom? Or the right to keep what you earn, and not have it taken from you by inflation and taxation, so that it can be spent killing Muslims for the war profiteers, or subsidizing laziness and apathy, or building rocket ships that never did a damn bit of good for anyone?
